Meet Julie Denholm, Founder of Education Support Service

I’m Julie Denholm, an educator and Primary School Principal with more than 20 years’ experience educating children in city, rural, and remote areas of Australia. I understand the crucial link necessary between families, teachers, support services and providers to support children’s development and increase students’ academic outcomes. Throughout my career as an educator and school leader, I have observed an increased learning gap requiring knowledgeable individualised support to build connections.

Education Support Service seeks to bridge this gap, building strong connected links between the child, parent, teacher and/or specialist. Professional experience in education has taught me that children’s success in learning is improved by connecting key stakeholders to provide a consistent and collaborative learning experience. This shared vision and commitment results in successful learning, improved confidence, and encourages the child to develop a ‘can do’ attitude.

As a qualified and accredited educator and school leader, I have a specific interest in the early years of development, and particularly students who find learning challenging in the school setting. I use my well-honed skills of relationship development, strategic management, coaching and mentoring to provide inclusive, solution focused learning. I am committed to supporting your child and their ability to succeed academically.
